Tracy Martin is a well-known motojournalist and
motorcycle enthusiast who regularly contributes to
Motorcycle Consumer News, RoadBike, 2 Wheel Tuner
and Dealer News magazines. With over 40 years of
motorcycling experience on all types of motorcycles and
terrain, Tracy has solid “hands on” familiarity with all
aspects of motorcycling and a breadth of technical and
riding experience rarely found in the powersports
industry today.

In addition to writing for enthusiasts' magazines, Tracy also writes technical content and
audio scripts for professional powersports trade publications as well as for Dealership
University, an innovative online powersports dealership training company. Tracy has also
presented numerous seminars for powersports dealerships, motorcycle clubs and other
organizations, on riding skills, motorcycle suspension, electrical systems and riding gear
technology.

When Tracy's not writing about motorcycles, he teaches an advanced motorcycle riding
skills course, the Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic, based on the best-selling book
Total Control by Lee Parks, a champion racer and former editor of Motorcycle Consumer
News. Together, Tracy and Lee developed curriculum, trained instructors and students,
and licensed riding schools to teach the Total Control method of advanced motorcycle
riding throughout the nation. In addition to courses in the United States, Tracy has taught
motorcycle classes in the United Kingdom and the Russian Federation.

An Automotive Service Excellence (A.S.E.) certified, master technician, service writer, and
automotive consultant, Tracy worked in the automotive aftermarket for over 25 years,
providing consulting services to Snap-On Tools, Sun Electric, Chevron Oil, Aspire Training
and Nissan of North America. He has developed extensive automotive technical programs
and training courses and has also taught courses on engine performance, automotive
electronics, fuel injection, electrical systems, ABS braking systems and numerous related
subjects. Tracy has also provided technical expert witness consulting services in
automotive-related investigations for litigation.

Tracy’s first book, “How to Diagnose and Repair Automotive Electrical Systems,” published
